This is my favourite location of Mastermind Toys! The staff is completely accommodating and are available to answer any questions. They’ve helped me pick out age appropriate toys for my niece and nephews on multiple occasions. It is always an enjoyable experience in the store, right down to checking out. My last checkout was with the cashier Danika (I hope I spelt that correctly). She greeted with a warm smile, made the transaction so friendly, and even offered to wrap the gifts for free. I will always recommend this location to family and friends.

This is an objective review - I purchased 2 kiddibuzz V2 tablets for my kids upon the recommendation of a store associate a few weeks before Christmas. I explicitly asked if this product was subpar or suffer from poor performance could I return it and the answer was yes as long as it's in the box and not damaged. The product was not up to standard, slow and laggy. Today I spoke to an older gentlemen (presumably the manager), lo and behold, they only accept returns if the boxes are unopened or if the seal is unbroken. I explained that's not what your associate explained to me and I am confused by this, he simply said \well this is the policy I am upholding\. I would have settled for some kind of middle ground, perhaps an in store credit but none of this was offered. Instead, the gentlemen \kept upholding the store's policy\. I said you're risking a negative review as I am surprised by this and he simply said \if you're threatening me I am hanging up\ and did so. I did nothing of the sort and only stated facts. Instead of contrition, I was greeted with arrogance and rather childish and ineffective behaviour. In these difficult times, one may encourage others to support local businesses. In this case, I cannot recommend mastermind toys based on the above and poor customer service. I will not be shopping here any longer, and I would like to ensure to those who do to thoroughly check their return policies before purchases, even though their employees who represent them may provide misleading statements. UPDATE:. I was able to return these products to another mastermind location with no problems upon explaining that the products were subpar and performed poorly. This store clearly misleads its customers based on this person's actions. Will not be shopping at this location at all.
Friendly location. Staffed with lots of young people who are eager to help. went in before the grand opening and the shelves were full with lots of adults wandering around. Lovely selection of books, toys, art supplies, board games and baby activity. mastermind provides free gift wrapping if you need that and has a lovely selection favors which if you're the don't get to see it very often relative is wonderful.
The staff there is extremely pleasant and kind... Offering assistance walk around the store with me to help find the perfect gifts for my neice and nephew. To top it all off they wrapped my presents for free and had all done in only a few minutes! Much faster then the other masterminds I've shopped at before. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend it.
Awful customer service from Shelby. Called in asking for the availability of a product and her response was “well, I can’t tell you anything that you won’t see yourself from searching on the website”. Thanks...
