I didn’t know what I was going to do when my benefits were denied. I was hesitant to hire a lawyer but I read a review of Kotak Law and sent them an email. I am so happy I did. A meeting was arranged a few days later with Mr. Kotak himself. He listened and let me know that he would take on my case. Lucy was my main contact after that. She always replied to me quickly and was compassionate and understanding when I had questions. In fact, the entire office staff were patient and kind no matter who I spoke to. Shortly before my mediation date, I spoke with Rajiv Hate. He put together my brief and after reading it, I felt seen for the first time since becoming disabled. Both Rajiv and Nainesh were there for my mediation. It was a very stressful time for me but they put me at ease and worked very hard for a positive outcome. My life was turned upside down at the time my illness disabled me from working. My insurance company denied my STD and LTD, with no fight left in me due to pain, exhaustion, depression I realized I need a lawyer. The initial contact and interview with Kaity convinced me that I will receive a high degree of service from the Kotak firm.
