Well-stocked, reasonable prices, and they must have excellent turnover because everything always tastes fresh (not stale or like it's been sitting on the shelf, permeated by all the other spices' flavours...which, let's face it, is a problem plaguing a lot of Indian grocers). My family has been shopping here for years, and I even recommend it to my non-Indian friends who are curious about where to find authentic Indian ingredients.

Every city that is a melting pot of different cultures, needs to have a grocery store that caters to a section of the population. And so is this one, catering largely to the South Asian segment. Definitely one of the best stores with produce, lentils, utensils and other knick knacks that South Asians need. Freshness of items is its hallmark even if cleanliness and narrow aisles make the experience less palatable. The store clearly needs a larger area. Especially in today's context of social distancing. There is just so much crowd in the store distancing is just not possible. The sooner it moves to a bigger location, the better for all. Till then, we will continue to visit early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
I have been to better Indian grocery stores. This one didn't have a lot of fresh vegetables or stock of frozen items. And they allowed quite a lot of people inside the store despite the fact its relatively small store!!
Best grocery store at main intersection. All Desi and Indian groceries available at comparative rates. Fresh Indian vegetables!! You can find many rare items here.
