AC is a better airline than most in North America but not as good as other international airlines. My most recent flight was very good though. Most of the staff was pleasant. There were few "blue birds" that are way past their prime and still hanging on to the dream...but have zero patience or tolerance for anyone... they should just move along as they are making travellers' days that much more stressful, hence the poor reviews..... perhaps to Bell call service department. The planes were clean, also AC now leaves prepackaged care bags for passengers (mask, water, disinfectant wipes, pretzels, granola bar, and headphones). This is pretty good and convenient. Planes are not very full so there is a lot of room and space between passengers.

Should be minus 10 stars. They sold the tickets, and cancelled the flight. Then they don't allow to return the tickets and only hold as voucher with the expiration in one year. Now it is nearly one year, the covid is still serious. So Air Canada will eat my money and never provide service. It is like rogue and robber.

Rude staff! Went for an upgrade to business class this morning on AC7510 Toronto to Ottawa. Never got paged for the change of boarding pass. Upon asking i was sent back and told you will be paged which never happened. I ignored it up until then but upon boarding when they realize there is a seat change instead of giving me a new boarding pass i was told YOU ARE 2F and sent on my way. I made another mistake of asking if someone was sitting beside me( my entire point of upgrading on a 1hr flight) The lady at the gate responded I DONT KNOW and pointed me towards the plane. I am still wondering what the hell was that. Why am i being penalized for being a loyal 75k Elite customer. I almost never do reviews but felt like Air Canada YOU SHOULD KNOW THE LEVEL OF SERVICE YOU ARE PROVIDING.

I book a one way flight in my name with credit card and it gets flagged for fraud. They tell me I have to go in person and just show my credit card. Wont tell me why it was flagged as fraud either.

Ac033 yyz-yvr-syd. 2/6/2019 Plane sat in toronto for whole day after arriving from PVG. Delayed due to cargo door broken 1hr. Clearly no checking done. Plane is also filthy. Again does not look like any cleaning done. Photos taken during pre boarding (Before take off) Avoid AC if you can. Mind you the other duopoly airline is only marginally better.

Air Canada. They're not happy till your not happy. To the "customer service" representative whose reading I interrupted while I was looking for information about the unknown airport I got stranded in because they caused me to miss my connection. I'm sorry. It was very rude of me to walk up and ask my simple question at your service desk. You were well within your rights to respond so condescending and disgusted with me.

Tried calling for a basic question and couldn't even get in touch with a real person. 15 minutes of ads first, then menu options that weren't general enough to find anything that applied to me.

I am flying from Toronto Pearson to Winnipeg today. My flight number is AC271 and my departure time is 10:10 am. This gentlemen and ladies at the Air Canada front desk were very helpful. I only got the other gentleman name. His name is Martin. Excellent customer service and they help me all the way especially I have 10 boxes with me to bring on my relocation up north!!! Their help is all I need in this unprecedented time. I wish I could thank them enough.
