I honestly can not say any great trail is ever less than perfect so I won't start now. Even though there are several trunks now across the trail after the wind storm from the other day, including two that you really have to have dexterity to get past, it was beautiful. Eagles regularly seen about 15 minutes from the main parking lot . Beautiful raven sounds from the parking lot out. First time I've seen evidence of bears on this trail in about 15 years. Both times were around this time of year (January). Today's walk was mid week, late morning to the mid afternoon so there were a fair amount of other hikers and dogs. Most dogs are off leash. Lots of parking, long drive from the main road through town but that means only those that really want to be there will make it. It's worth it.

A nice hike trail that leads to the waterfall, the dam nearby and the other locations around the water (a lake?) By the time at the Steelhead Falls, there is a path to get to the waterfall by the photo taking spot, enter at your own risk since the path is tiny and small. Majority of the path is shaded by the big tall trees. There is a parking lot for the vehicles, a garbage can, recycle bin, toilet at the beginning of the trail

Great trail, definitely a long one 4 stars because after many years the floating bridge is still out forcing you to backtrack 8km

Easy to get here, small but beautiful waterfall. We found a lot of super big slug along the way
