I was so fortunate to be under care at Hawthorne Midwives in 2020. As a first time mom during a pandemic, the ladies at Hawthorne made my pregnancy and birth experience so calm and empowering. I always looked forward to my appointments as the ladies made me feel extremely supported and in charge of my birth goals. They were very experienced and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and guiding me to great resources for more information. Mitra was by my side during my birth and Molly made the postpartum home visits so easy and delightful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone I know that is interested in being under the care of a midwifery team - they are truly an amazing set of women! Thank you so much ladies.

Hawthorne Midwives provided great care and comfort for a first time mother. We had a home-birth, decided during labour and the midwives were so helpful and supportive. I felt safe and cared for throughout the entire process and never worried for my child's safety. I am so happy with the entire birth process of our child and will definitely return if/ when I am expecting another child.

The midwives and Hawthorne Midwives were like having a mother or sister helping with your birth. They all made an effort to introduce themselves and make sure I was comfortable and at ease for when my big day came! Everyone is very knowledge and has an answer to every question, as well as always being available by phone for an emergency. I am so happy with their service and look forward to having them welcome my next baby into the world when that day comes!

If you are in the Milton/Halton area and looking for a Midwife clinic, definitely reach out to Hawthorn Midwives. This is my first pregnancy, and I was a bit slow with reaching out to different places for my pregnancy needs and care and initially when I had reached out (around 13 weeks, just into my 2nd trimester), they were already at capacity. But luckily for me about 6 weeks later they had space and was able to take me on as a client. You are separated out into either group 1 or 2 where you will be in the care of 2-3 midwives. You will meet all of them and they are all so nice and knowledgeable. It being my first pregnancy, I had no idea what to expect but so far they have comforted me and I feel at ease with my care. I also appreciate how they empower me with information and ultimately it is my decision on why type of care I want, however I really appreciate the information they provide.
