My three girls (1 set of twins) have attended and currently attend Building Blocks Montessori and Preschool. We have gone through the transition from infant - toddler - preschool as a team together with the admin and teachers at Building Blocks. The teachers have been great dealing with my twin girls as individuals as they are both developing their skills at different rates. We are tremendously proud of one of twin daughters growth in social skills. I owe a huge amount of credit to the approach the staff took at promoting her independence from her twin sister. Both girls now have their own friends at Building Blocks. As a working mother I am especially appreciative of the day end updates I receive at pick-up. I get to hear about the stories of the day from the teachers and often get nice \surprise\ stories of how the girls take care of each other. It is obvious the staff understands the dilemma parents are in being away from their kids up to 8 hours a day. They certainly make the separation anxiety as minimal as possible......for both mom and kids. Love Building Blocks! Keep up the great work!

Our daughter attended Building Blocks Montessori Preschool, Bronte location since she was 1 years old until 4 years old. The teachers at this centre are truly amazing! My daughter had a hard time with separation anxiety when we started and the teachers made sure not to rush her transition and made her feel loved, cared for and made sure she was having fun. The teachers throughout the centre are truly amazing! My daughter has learned her alphabet, counting, being independent, social skills, writing her name and even some French words. Every transition (from infant to toddler to preschool) the teachers made it always seamless and as fun and stress-free as possible. The cook also worked with me and ensuring my daughters nutritional needs were met. The centre overall is clean, very accommodating, the teachers are patient, the kids are always happy and the new supervisor (Trudy) has made great changes to the centre and responded to any of my questions or concerns right away. I am very happy my daughter attended Building Blocks and would recommend this centre to family and friends.
Our three children attended Building Blocks Montessori and Preschool from the time they were 16 months to the age of 4. The staff are very thoughtful and devoted to the children in their care, as they plan fun-filled field-trips, holiday concerts, and engaging daily learning which helped prepare them for their first year of Kindergarten. The supervisors have always been flexible and accommodating on the few occasions we had to alter standing child-care arrangements and have responded to any concerns in a professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend Building Blocks Montessori and Preschool to families in need of high-quality childcare and education.
I am so glad that I found Building Blocks. After trying to navigate the licensed and unlicensed options available to my wife and I for our pre-school kids we are so lucky to have come across the team and care at Building Blocks Montessori. Unfortunately my wife and I had a terrible experience with a home daycare (even though it WAS licensed). After having to address instances of unknown people at the home day care my wife and I were looking for a controlled environment. We needed a location where we knew the door was locked and people coming in and out were strictly controlled. What we found in Building Blocks, beyond the safety controls, was icing on the cake. The bright classrooms and friendly staff went above and beyond our needs and wants for pre school care. We felt like we were dropping the kids off with family. Not only were the staff caring but over the years the teachers in the classroom were the only ones that could get the kids to eat a meal without being picky :) Thank you BB for helping give our kids the \Building Blocks\ for their futures!
Tried this place for a month , Was not at all happy - was asked to take parenting lessons (which was very rude!) - very less care and attention was given to my 16 month old - one or two of the teachers were good at their job - overall i will not go back to this place or recommend
