I picked up my aluminum dump trailer from Millroad Trailers last week. I picked up the MD 712-5 with is a 6X12 trailer. I can't believe how light it is when towing. I could barely tell it was on behind. I've loaded it up for a dump run & also picked up 5 yards of top soil and dumping was so smooth. The hydraulics are awesome. At the dump I ran into a fella that has a 6X4 aluminum dump trailer he purchased 10 years ago. He couldn't go on enough about how much he loved his trailer. Then he went over everything that has been improved over the years. The adjustable coupler, LED lights, extruded aluminum floor stood out to him as well. So far I couldn't love this trailer more & I'm really looking forward to putting it to work.
We purchased a Millroad aluminum utility trailer from McFarlane Trailer Sales and we couldn't be happier. It's a 6X4 aluminum trailer with sides that are about a foot & a half high. The doors on the back swing out which gets them out of the way. Sometimes I wish the trailer had a tailgate style that swung down in one piece. The aluminum tarp is great to cover garbage for the dump or bringing stuff to our trailer for the summer. Load it with mulch, cover it and you never have to worry about leaving a trail of mulch behind you! You can also attach a bicycle rack to the top when you're going on that perfect summer family trip. It took a little to figure out the best way to use the tarp but it sure does help protect stuff we don't want getting wet. This trailer can carry 1000lbs and it only ways 350lbs. The LED lights are great for visibility and when I tow it I can barely tell its there. We love this trailer and are so glad we purchased it. The decision to spend a little more for such a well built aluminum utility trailer was definitely worth it. Quality is fantastic. Millroad Trailers has dealers all over but we really recommend Kyle at McFarlane Trailer Sales.
We bought a Millroad aluminum trailer when we were building our house in Bancroft. It not only served us well hauling construction materials but we later used it for trailing our ATV in the area. It served us so well. When we finally moved back to Huron County several years later we loaded it up several times to move many of our belongings. One of our best investments!
Bought a landscape trailer early 2019. Might be a little more money but the welds are better; heavier construction. I carry a miniexcavator/small tractor/several lawnmowers and the trailer saw daily use over the past year, and i have been very pleased. Jeremy
