I recently had my second birth with the Midwifery Group of Ottawa (first was with an OBGYN), and have never felt more safe, heard and supported during a pregnancy/postpartum. I've experienced OB practices, and frankly NOTHING compares to this collective of experienced and knowledgable Midwives. They go beyond the basic birthing and postnatal care to ensure the healthiest and happiest parent/baby experience. I am amazed at their strength to provide such intensive, selfless care. Thank you to everyone who had been involved with my birth (because it's not just one -- their entire team becomes a beautiful part of the journey in some way or another).

As a first time mother, there were a lot of questions, anxieties and unknowns about pregnancy and birth. Whitney, Rosie and student Daphe were incredible, took amazing care of us and made for the most amazing team. I received all of the care that my friends with Ob’s were getting, and more! They listened to my concerns and always acted quickly to ease my fears or provide reassurance. Our birth experience was the most incredible day of our lives and I attribute that to my midwives and the relationships we built over pregnancy. I am thankful for Whitney’s reassurances backed with evidence based research and Rosie’s kind words and encouragement as I laboured and became a nervous new mom. Lastly, having several home visits the week after the birth made recovery less stressful for all of us. 6 weeks of follow ups and visits helped get us all through the beginning stages and ultimately set us up for success in the 4th trimester. I would recommend midwifery group of Ottawa to anyone!

I am super late with this rating but I always rave to everyone out in the real world about how much I loved this place when I was having my son (in June 2019 oops). Rosie was an absolute angel and a calming presence when my sons birth took 3 whole days and took some scary turns. I always recommend this group for any friends or family having babies in the Ottawa area. 10/10 would give birth with the Midwifery Group of Ottawa again.

I cannot express enough how much I loved working with the midwives at this Midwifery Group. They are such an amazing group who are so supportive, helpful and made both my pregnancies so easy. The best part is they come to your house to assist after birth and they are there for you every step of the way by answering all your questions, and being so helpful!

I'm a first time mom to a beautiful baby girl! Going through pregnancy and childbirth during a pandemic was not easy! But my amazing midwives Whitney and Rosie helped make the experience beautiful! They were knowledgeable, compassionate, experienced and all in all helped my husband and I make the most out of becoming first time parents during a pandemic! And when it became clear my ideal birth plan wasn't an option Whitney was amazing, kept me informed and made sure I understood each step and why we were making it. She kept my birth environment calm and peace despite some minor complications! I could not have been happier with my experience! I hope I can have Whitney next time

I cannot say enough about the Midwifery Group! My midwives were incredible and supported me through the unique emotional rollercoaster that is pregnancy, birth and post partum. The facility is beautiful and I felt very safe given all the precautions in place during the pandemic. Definitely an excellent choice if you are considering midwifery care.

Cannot say enough great things about this practice and the incredible women that it's comprised of! This was our first baby, during a pandemic no less, and Céline and Chantal helped to make it the most amazing experience. These ladies go above and beyond to make sure you and your family always feel loved and cared for all the while making sure you are always informed and empowered to make birth choices that feel right for you. We can't wait to return for our future babies. If you're looking for midwifery care, you can't do better than MGO!

Really good team !!! My midwife Claudie was excellent!!!! I am looking forward to being pregnant again and go back to them lol . Claudie was super helpful any time any day !! She was taking time and explained me a lot of things that finally I was very confident being pregnant and ready for the labour. Big thanks to this team !!! That was a great experience!!!
