I can't say enough amazing things about the care and knowledge of the midwives and staff. Debbie at the front desk is always happy to help and does it with a smile. I had the most incredible labour and delivery at home with with absolute confidence and trust in my team. The aftercare is really what sets the experience apart from an OB. Thank you to these amazing women for listening and respecting all of my wishes and helping me fulfill my birth plan.

This review is very late, but I needed time to process my experience as it was very traumatizing and not pleasant. This was my first child and I wanted to go with a midwife because of I knew they would better fit what I wanted for my birth compared to an OB. Looking back at it, after this experience with Georgetown Midwifery I might as well have had a OB. My team consisted of Cathie, Laura, and Shirley. Long story short; 1) I was talked in to getting a epidural even though I wanted a natural birth without it. 2) I felt rushed and had to get a c-section. 3) After my last home visit with them I was suppose to call to have a in office appointment but I never called. They never called to follow up, and haven't heard from them since.

This was my first time giving birth. Right from the beginning I felt so comfortable with my midwife team. All of them were supper supportive and very informative. When it came to the day of my delivery my midwives were amazing. They were there for me and my husband every step of the way. I was provided with a very quiet and peaceful experience with the support of my husband and midwife. I would do it again in a heat beat.

I had a great experience with the midwives here when my son was born in March. I have had a number of negative experiences with medical professionals in the past rushing me through appointments or dismissing me when I had questions. The midwives always provide you with time to go through any concerns that you have. I ended up planning a home birth with the guidance of my midwife team and it went better than I could have imagined! My only complaint is that they did not arrive sooner since one of the midwives did not arrive on time for my birth. Since everything went flawlessly, it wasn't a problem. The only reason I am docking a star is because I often had to wait pretty long past my appointment times to see my midwives. I would always arrive on time and I had to wait an average of 25 - 45 minutes to see my midwives. This was frustrating since I had to leave work early and miss meetings to show up on time. My husband would also leave his place of work in downtown Toronto to meet me for appointments and we would sit together in the waiting area for 40 minutes with no update from anybody about the ETA.

Very professional midwifery team. We were able to have our baby naturally at Brampton Civic without any unnecessary medical intervention. The midwifery team in the hospital managed almost everything by themselves and there was no rush at the time of delivery. We appreciate your help and patience.
