A hidden gem! We were so delighted to find such a beautiful, picturesque and welcoming place to stay at. Jacquie the owner is a wonderful host and a true artist. She ensured that we felt safe amidst the pandemic and were given privacy throughout our stay. Breakfast were meticulously presented and tasted great. We will definitely be back at this lovely place on our next visit to Awenda Park.

We booked a three night's stay at this B&B last week and everything was excellent, and I mean every aspect of our time there. This is a really peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy the Georgian Bay at its best! I fully recommend this B&B for a short or long stay. Jacquie Black is an amazing host and will make everything for you to enjoy the site (which includes a gorgeous garden, beautiful front yard and a direct access to the Huron Lake through a well maintained dock). Her amazing food and fine decoration of the breakfast table makes you start your morning with a beautiful smile. Breakfast always include fresh fruits, homemade marmalades, and six choices of breakfast...including three with her own recipes. We certainly enjoyed the super comfortable bed and beautiful room, the cleanliness of the house and the small details such as water in your room, fresh towels, Jacquie’s tips on sites to visit while in town and the amazing collection of her pictures displayed in the house. Both of us have a great time in Midland. We will certainly will come back to this B&B. Thank you Jacquie!!
We loved our stay at Beacon Shore Bed & Breakfast. Jacquie is a lovely, knowledgeable and talented host. She wears many hats (hostess, tour advisor, gardener, chef, photographer) and wears them all very well! Her 15-acre property is full of beauty, wildlife, and peace and quiet. Her garden is spectacular...full of colour and lovely floral scents. We enjoyed probably the best breakfast we've ever had. She seated us on her back patio with a gorgeous sun-drenched view of Georgian Bay and her lovely gazebo bird feeder. It's regular visitors kept us entertained while we enjoyed our eggs and bacon and homemade carrot cake jam...delicious! Thank you Jacquie for sharing your beautiful home and property with us. We WILL be back :)
We just returned from our 10th consecutive summer visit to Beacon Shore and had another wonderful time. Owner and host Jacquie Black once again helped to make our week relaxing and memorable. Her delicious breakfasts and kind hospitality are just two reasons we return each summer. The beautiful views of Georgian Bay, the 5-start quality of the accommodations, the lawns, expansive gardens and the private dock on Georgian Bay also set this B&B apart and keep us coming back. Our annual stay at Beacon Shore B&B is a tradition we have long enjoyed and look forward to continuing.
We took the Georgian Suite and the place was just gorgeous! Host - lovely folk who were welcoming and served good breakfasts. Jacky was very knowledgeable on the surrounding bike trails too.. Room - was clean and spacious and do was the bathroom Location - this was the icing on the cake. Beautiful view of the sunrise over the bay Highly recommend
My husband and I loved our weekend at Beacon Shore. The location on Georgian Bay is spectacular, the house gorgeous and the hosts delightful. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Gourmet calibre breakfasts were delicious. I can't overstate how much we enjoyed this B and B.
My partner and I stayed in the Queen room over the May long weekend. We had a wonderful stay at the Beacon Shore on Georgian Bay Bed & Breakfast! Our room was charming, thoughtfully decorated, and had the most comfortable bed (and of course, was very clean). Breakfast was possibly our favourite part, everything was delicious and we loved the selection of unusual and wonderful jams (although it's hard to pick just one favourite part about our stay - the view from our room was stunning and hard to compete with)! Jacquie and Bob were great hosts, easy to reach by phone or email, and had plenty of tips and recommendations for the area. I would gladly recommend their bed and breakfast!
We had the pleasure of staying for one night after a day on the water seadooing. Jacquie was an amazing host and as my Executive Chef and I with 35 years in the culinary world it was a delight to have such an amazing gourmet breakfast that Jacquie made herself ! It was the best breakfast we have ever experienced .We look forward to returning soon to destress and enjoy some carrot cake jam and sweet potato bread! This is a hidden gem in Midland Ontario !
