Not only is this the cutest shop with the most beautiful items, every purchase and experience feels so personal and thoughtful. Deliveries through Covid have included adorable hand written notes and doodles that show how much care goes into the business. When I’ve been able to go into the store in person, I’ve always been welcomed warmly and provided with knowledgeable help picking out just the right candle or plant for me. I now how 2 Merchant of York plants that are THRIVING and I’m convinced it is because of how they were cared for before they came to me. Thank you for adding vibrancy to our neighbourhood and beauty to my home!

One of my favourite places to choose holiday (or special occasion) gifts. Michael and Randy are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and take such care in curating a collection of beautiful and unique products. I always trust their taste and i'm never disappointed. I live in Halifax so I always have things shipped and they are always fast, packed well, and often more beautiful than they look online! Can't recommend enough!
I can’t get enough of Merchant of York. Michael and Randy are such kind and caring owners who curate unique products that I absolutely love. I have purchased so many stunning pieces from their shop that make my small condo feel like home. I will continue to support this local business, as it truly is a gem.
