This Ukrainian-Canadian company is one that I found a couple of years ago. I have transferred cash, sent clothing, food and other gifts to friends all over Ukraine. Today (4 October 2018) I had the pleasure of meeting ліана (Liana). She assisted me in the expedition of my parcel to Kiev. From past experience, I fully expect the parcel to be delivered by 12 October. All small package shipments leave Toronto on Fridays. Footnote: I now ALWAYS ask the person whose photograph I take and intend to publish on the Internet if they permit me to do so. This is one case where asking permission is immensely better than trying to ask for forgiveness! Photos of some of the items that I have shipped to Ukraine... For those of you who are unaware, Meest will also transfer funds to anyone in Ukraine and all of the FSU (Former Soviet Union) countries. For example, a USD transfer to Kiev was completed in 20 hours. Photo posted. Today was a different set of transactions: sending USD and a parcel to Kiev. I was assisted by Ina, a lady I hadn't met before. She whisked through both of my orders in no time. I thank you INA! Once again, I had the good fortune to deal with Liana today (17/01/2019). She expertly handled my parcel shipment to Khmelnitskyi in western Ukraine. I like her new haircut and colour as well. Check out her photo here. It has been a long cold winter. Now it's time to send the gifts that I have accumulated over the past few months. Thanks again to one and all at Meest.

This location is always friendly to me and works fast. The ladies are always happy to explain anything to me and are very helpful! Thank you! Sometimes if the parcel I receive is heavy the worker even suggests to put it to my car for me! I don’t have a car so they made handles from scotch tape for me one time. When you go there to mail a parcel be aware that they have a special mailing cut off day, Thursday for example, and if you’ll arrive on Friday your parcel will have to wait in Toronto until the next mailing day next Thursday. So if you really want your parcel rushed, maybe it’s worth a call to know what is the cut off day is.

Firstly, learn to be polite. I suggest enrolling your staff in some customer service courses. Secondly, its 2020 - why can I not send money to Ukraine via credit card over phone... why do I have to drive to your ugly building and do it in person?

I knew Meest since I was a kid when my Dad would send parcels from the US. All packages came on time and as expected. Now, I am using Meest services myself (Toronto location) and I know I can rely on them (unlike other services that result in lost packages). They have a convenient location, parking is never an issue. Don't be putt off by their warehouse-like appearance -- they are not a post office. The people at the reception are always courteous and speak multiple languages. From my personal experience I cannot relate to other 1-star comments about rude behaviour. It is always nerve wracking to wait for your parcel to arrive to its destination, especially when you put in so much effort and love into selecting each individual item. Meest respects this effort by ensuring smooth and reliable service.
