We stopped for lunch on our way to Banff. It’s a small place in Red Deer and you can feel the passion of the owner in everything they do. Very friendly and great food. If you like to eat Mediterranean food you have to swing by this place. About as good as it gets....

Friendly, family owned and hands down the best shawarma in the city! If you enjoy true authentic middle eastern flavours, than you NEED to try Mediterranean Lava Grill. They are sure to win over your taste buds!
This quaint restaurant has become something of a hidden treasure in Red Deer for some legitimately excellent Mediterranean food. I have been eating here for several years and realized that I have never written a thank you for the service/food. I highly recommended this place. Must try.
The food here is absolutely delicious and the customer service is top notch. I come here about once per week and they remember my order, what I don't like to have and what I like to add. The portions are massive, hot and high quality.
