We’ve been using McRoberts for over three years now. Not a single time have they been timely. Weve actually run out of oil about 3 times now on McRoberts fault. They’re NEVER on time, and they always take FOREVER to get here. My house is about a 5 minute drive from their office. We called the first week in December to have oil filled, put money in the account and called probably about 4 dozen times. They didn’t put oil in our tank until today. Almost two months after asking for it. BAD BAD BUSINESS. I’m also supposed to be on auto refill, never come.

I spoke to them on Monday. By Wednesday they had our propane tank moved, regulators put on our pool heater and tank, and our tank filled. Excellent service from McRobert's!
There is no ZERO stars, so I'm giving one star ONLY for that reason. This company is the worst EVER!!! Last fall (2018), we informed them that we would no longer be using them and that the tanks could be removed in the spring prior to June 1st (renewal date). They STILL are trying to charge us 250 tax for removing the tanks. We had 22 tanks for the trailers. The tanks are rentals and when a valve was leaking on THEIR tank, they charged us 285 to repair!!! They refused to credit for the propane in the tanks, or to pump out the propane -- I found a company that is amazing to deal with, and actually WANT our business. DO NOT EVER USE McRobert Fuels for ANYTHING -- THIS COMPANY ARE CROOKS AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!! We have filed a complaint with the TSSA and they're keeping it on file.
I would give them zero stars if I could. They let me and my family run out of propane. and every time I called them they promised me that someone would be there the next day and they kept saying that to me for over a month. Their staff on the phone is rude and condescending. And when I finally switched businesses to a different propane company they tried to hit me with a 650 bill for picking up their own tanks. This place is should not be in business if you ask me.
I regret hiring this company and I am happy I switched to natural gas so that I no longer have to deal with them. One winter they let me run out of propane. When I told them I no longer needed their propane they left their tanks on my property for 4 months, I had to repeatedly call to get them to take them away and then they charged me over 300 to take them. They don't return calls. Not friendly on the telephone. I do not recommend this company.
