McKinnon Timber Mart deserves 6 stars for the outstanding, smooth, polite and helpful service. Forget the big box stores, and talk to a store like McKinnons with knowledge, compassion and honestly simply the easiest shopping experience ever. Keith answers my emails within 24 hours almost everyday, and organizes delivery for all my products without me having to worry for a second. Keith is friendly, knowledgable, and there's simply no way to thank him and his team enough for making my shopping experience, both during Covid and before outstanding. I will be a repeat customer for life. At 25 years old, 99% of people blow my wife and I off and can't give us the time of day. Keith helped us select roofing, siding, and everything else we needed to improve the look of our home. Now, as we build a new garage, Keith has helped us and brought our dreams to life. Thank you to the McKinnon Timber Mart team from my wife and I!
Current store policy is to not allow customers into the outdoor lumber yard or lumber barns to see and select what they need. An excessive overabundance of caution, but it's their store. As a result, we had to drive an additional 26km to Home Depot where we received helpful service with reasonable precautions.
Love the staff always willing to help here.
They don't allow you to get out of the vehicle, then load you up with damaged materials. Do yourself a favor and go to home Depot until covid is over.
