Massey Theater since 1949. It's the little things in life that make me proud to be a Canadian. One of the few places in Canada that hasn't been affected by the poor decisions of the Justin Trudeau Government. Let's protect this place and keep it Canadian!

Love seeing community shows and children musical and it’s a smaller community feel. They have concession and easy accessible washroom for stroller. Can be super busy and gridlock when high school gets out and children’s show over at three with traffic and people. Extra Parking in hidden areas behind neighbourhood and apartment building for easy exit
The staff are the nicest here! You dont find that in many places these days...that old fashioned friendliness and good manners. I also love the old theatre, it feels nostalgic yet is in good repair and has comfy seats. Always look forward to coming back here.
Went to singing in the Rian....first time there and wow it was amazing !! Can't wait to go again
It's old. It is part of New Westminster Secondary School which uses it as their theater also. The school is being replaced so why not the theatre? Acoustics are not great. Seats are not comfortable although the theatre's design is such that every seat has no issues for viewing the stage. Lobby is shabby with ceiling tiles loose and burned out lights. Washrooms are too small with huge lineups during intermission. This is not a classic/heritage building worth keeping. Opened in 1949 and looks it's age. Remodeling would cost as much as building a new one.
