Since the covid-19 the Back Home Bistro has bee closed. I truly miss everything about this great Restaurant. I can close my eyes and see this Beautifully decorated restaurant, and the food is out of this world. The staff is awesome, they make you feel welcome the minute you walk in. Food is fresh, and to top it all HOMEMADE DESSERTS. For me going to the Back Home Bistro is a little getaway. You are always served with a smile and FRESH tasty coffee, and real flowers of the . It is a great environment to be with friend or just a little me time. HOPE YOU OPEN SOON ! I miss your breakfast!

I have been to the bistro a few times now and have not been dissapointed. The menu is so creative and flavours are amazing. It is such a nice atmosphere and the staff is all amazing. It is a special spot in a small town and that is important. I come from an hour away to enjoy a special brunch here.

Hubby & I spent the weekend at my mom's camp near Walford, and stopped here for breakfast with my mom before our trek home. She has been here a few times & had told us how good it was -- we were definitely impressed! Hubby enjoyed his omelet; mom's Breakfast Club was HUGE and I had the Amaretto Peach French Toast from the summer menu, which was delicious . Coffee was tasty, service was impeccable and friendly. Overall, we thought the price was reasonable, considering the freshness & quality of what we all had. The washrooms were clean and the ladies' even had hand lotion -- to me, that defines a business who puts importance on attention to detail! We hope to be able to stop here again when we come back through this way (Best part was meeting a friend from my childhood, Janet, from when I used to live in Walford a zillion years ago! )
Visited this wonderful restaurant twice on my way through town. My wife and I enjoyed it both times. Beautiful and delicious breakfast with warm and friendly service. Amaretto peach french toast and the eggs benedict were amazingly delicious. You could not ask more. I found the price very fair for the quality and freshness. Only negative. Maple syrup should not be an extra anywhere in Canada. Wish you were closer to my home.
This place is kind of in the middle of no where. It was an upscale fine dining place at decent prices. And you can dress any way you want. Absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered. Great kids menu. We were pleasantly surprised on our road trip. Thank you! Lovely waitress as well.
