First off I want to say that they show we saw here was phenomenal! 'Old Stock'. One of the best I have seen. However, I did not love our seats. We were tier 1 right, seats 8 and 9. When I was selecting seats there were some available on the main floor sides for the same price but I decided that the tier 1 would be better as there was no one in front of us whereas we would be in the second row on the main floor. It was a mistake. The railing blocked most of our view of the main singer in the play. We could see his shoulders and head. If we leaned forward then we would block those people seated to our left. As I was sitting there I was looking at the other seats I had considered and they would have had perfect views. No way the seats should be considered the same price point. It was disappointing. Luckily the show was so great we still had an amazing evening, I would go back but will be very picky about my seats in the future and will not rely on the venue pricing to help me decide which views are equal.

Just saw The Wedding Party at Martha Cohen theatre. Second play we have seen there now and it's a wonderful venue. Very elegant, and yet small and personal. Have been easily able to get up close seating for both shows. Both times they have had an on stage bar at intermission, which is fun.
