I Have obtained services from Yej studio and consulting for below grade entrance design and permit as well as for 2nd unit basement apartment. Everyone in office as well as field staff is very honest and professional. They charged me what they quoted and did the work in commited time period.Amr and Hasan were always ready to explain. And answer any question.
If there’s a zero star that is what I would give - Beware of this company! We paid for basement drawings that were supposedly submitted to the city for approval over a year ago. However city has informed us that they never received any submission and no record of any drawings from YEJ. I’ve called and left messages in their office and directly for Amar but no response. Now after paying 1200 HST I have no drawings no permit approval. Terrible customer service. Zero value
YEJ was very helpful and guided me through the processes of getting my permit. The team from the Admin Alex to the engineers Eseel and Hassan were wonderful people. I first started my basment without a permit and a neighbour called the city and I was stopped from continuing working. I found YEJ on goole and Hassan came over the next day to have a look at the excavation and the basement. Hassan and Aseel qiucky came up with the drawing for the floor plan and did modification along the way. I got a big set back along the way with the city of Brampton. I live in a corner lot. Brampton by law is you can not have a side entrance which I have already excavated and put in the door. Hassan and his team were alb to help me processes an application called minor variace which had to go through a vote from a panel of city building commissioners. Hassan represented me at the meet and argued my case and we won. Now I have my permit for the side entrance and the basment permits.
Amr and his team at YEJ helped us with the architectural plans and application for the permit to the City of Brampton. This is an organization of young professional and they certainly know their job. They are courteous and responsive, both being key factors. To top it, their charges were reasonable. Overall, we are satisfied with the quality of the job. Thanks YEJ team.
