My son has been studying chess with Mr. S for almost one year, starting from newbie. He made huge progree. Mr. S is amazing. He surely knows how to teach chess and kids. We are lucky to find instructor like Mr. S.

Mr. S knows his audience, from beginners to expert-level students, he thoroughly engages all of his pupils with his boisterous and fun personality but also gets serious when needed. He is the most giving of any teacher we have had the good fortune to meet, putting the needs of his students first, every time. You would be hard pressed to find a better chess teacher anywhere. My son has flourished under his tutelage, finding his passion for chess right from day 1 with Mr. S-- I am certain that my son wouldn't have continued with chess if we didn't have the good luck to have him as our first instructor. We have followed him over the years, no matter the drive. Highly recommended!

Mr.S is very energetic and makes kids really like chess. I would definitely recommend him if you want to learn chess.
Mr. S is great with the kids and parents. He is highly motivated, lots of energy, very good communicator and makes the game enjoyable. Loves to interact with the kids and knows each one by name and tells parents how they are doing in the class. Highly recommended of all levels of chess players.
My son (and myself) was taught by Mr. S for 2 years from beginner level. I also learnt quite a lot from him in the same classroom. Both of us enjoy his class very much and never be late for his class. He loves chess and loves to share his wisdom and passion about chess to his young audience in a charming way. I do not consider him only as a chess teacher for my son, but a mentor for him as well. He treats each student with his heart. His class is never lack of laughter and spirits of eargerness to pursuit the fun and perfection of chess. I would like to recommend him to anyone who like to learn chess.
