It was my first time to visit Chef 88 after they reopen from lockdown. The restaurant was very clean & well organized. If you want to make sure you get a table, you can make a reservation in advance. The food came quickly after we ordered. The servers were very polite & helpful. I ordered the dinner combo for three persons. The portion was reasonable and the taste was delicious. The overall experience was great!

The restaurant was busy, they followed the social distancing protocols. People were waiting outside for a seat. They offered both indoor and outdoor dining. We were able to pick up the food quickly, and was in and out fairly quick. They missed an order of beef balls which was crossed out on the bag meaning it was in it. Overall the food was good, the mango pudding was sour probably used real mangos? If they listed that the mango pudding has 3 per order we would just order 1 order.

Tried dim sum twice and dinner once at Chef 88 Elite in September of 2020. C19 protocols were in place and I ate indoors each time although a large patio area has been set up which does not use parking space. The dim sum is very good in taste and reasonably priced for the high quality of execution. The care in preparation extends to little details and touches that many other places do not bother with. Dinner is relatively more expensive but again high quality and care is there. Service is experienced and professional. Take note that the dim sum bill includes a 10% service charge when it is presented. Parking is free and easy given the huge lot for the plaza. Well worth trying out if you enjoy dim sum.

Ordered food here for Chinese New Year and the Peking duck is the bomb! I also enjoyed their veggie dumpling. Huge fillings and for a reasonable price. Definitely coming back!

I don’t know if it’s because it was my first time eating at a restaurant in a very long time, but everything was absolutely delicious!! We ate in the patio and each table is definitely spaced at least 2 meters apart. Hand sanitizer on every table and the workers were good at wearing PPE. Would definitely come again!

i was recommended by my friend I should come here for dim sum. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I picked outdoor seating because it was a nice day. they use big umbrellas, the seating outside was very comfortable. The dim sums are good. there are a good variety of dim sum to order. the clean was keep very clean. The only thing one needs to pay attention when one sit outside. The table is patio table which the table top has gap, if you accidentally pour the hot water or sauce on the table, the liquid will pour on your legs. It was nice to sit out when the weather is nice. they have partitions inside the restaurant, when the weather is not nice it is okay to choose inside seating.

Lucky that we got in before Toronto went under another lockdown. Anyway, the food was subpar. many dishes needed seasoning. I'm just happy that we got to dine in a restaurant before everything closed down again.....

Came here because we saw they had an outdoor space set up but it didn't matter because we got to dine in, yay! Impressed by the size of the har gow and siu mai. Dim sum was pretty tasty; also ordered seafood chow mein which was alright. Presentation was nice and noodles were nice and crispy but lacked a bit in flavour. Full stars because we enjoyed our meal and the service was great, really friendly staff.
