I have been dealing here for many years. A professionally run store, with a knowledgable staff. They are an example of respect and caring both for their staff and customers during the current pandemic. As a client, I find myself incredulous at the irresponsible reviews I have read by others here. I happily recommend Markdale Pharmacy to anyone.
I waited 1hr and 40 minutes for 15 pills and only filled 1 of 2 prescription. I have had trouble with the pharmacy from day one . l walked out and going some were else . The worst company ever. I give this company 0 stars thats to good
I have waited hours for medications, because of this called in for them to do it in advance and still had to wait over an hour. Everywhere else I pay 5 dollars a day here it is 7. They require a lock box for my medication witch nowhere else requires. Last prescription they did not screw the caps on properly and blamed it on me. Was also just told my medication is not essential and to find somewhere else to get it next week. I dont think I have to say it but not one good experiance over the coarse of 1 year comming here on a weekly basis.
I now drive to Owen Sound, Shoppers wont charger you a dispensing fee. As for Markdale, getting your prescription in a timely manner is tricky. I was with them for almost 30 years, ’ve had them give me the wrong amount or just the wrong medication before so double check before you leave. There’s an old man pharmacist who’s pretty helpful but the rest treat me like a criminal anytime I ask for something behind the counter. One of the pharmacist straight refused to sell me plan B based on my gender. Which any real pharmacy will tell you is wrong and it’s not even supposed to be behind the counter.... They might also not have the medication your doctor prescribed and the post bellow about getting a lecture or meddling in your doctors choice is completely true. Best of luck for anyone stuck in the area and has to use this place, my thoughts and prayers are with you
