The host was very accommodating and helped to answer all my questions and supplied me with everything he could!! The rooms were clean and we especially enjoyed the pool and trampoline. Great space and would recommend to everyone!!

Was going to go there while in Cape Breton. We booked a Queen was given a double and the room smelt really bad. Went to complain. Front staff was very nasty when we complaint. Was told by the owner it wasn’t his fault we were fat. The owner yelled in my partners face and called my partner and myself a bunch of really nasty names. Will never go back there ever again.

Greatest deal for our family. 75/night. Very clean, spacious. For this budget price was expected old stained carpets, etc but new flooring. Loved the game room, had fun time. Pool table, ping pong fooseball. Trampoline and play area for children. Would definitely return.

We stayed here last year during our 3 month vacation trip throughout wonderful Canada. The place is one of the few locations we were not overly enthused. It was acceptable for one night's stay, the owner/staff was kind of gruffy, almost felt like we were annoying him. Our room and bed was comfy. Parking was easy right in front of your room.

Will definitely miss this place ️. So peaceful!!! If your looking to get away, like really get away, stay here. Your tucked into the mountain top, surrounded by lots of tress. Has a cottage feel, rooms clean and the view I will never forget. Local shops and food places might be a bit of a drive out, get there and back before dark. It was very scary driving at night, hardly any street light. Everything closes early and as expected in a tourist area, food and drinks r expensive. It was all worth it. ️

Good place for the money. Furniture is old but good. Only problem is if u need food u have to drive for 30 mins to get to a restaurant and most of them close around 8.30

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Margaree Riverview Inn. Was not expecting to have a full on suite with kitchenette, a barbecue and a picnic table outside. Rooms were spacious, clean and in very good shape. Pool is kept very clean and safe. Had an interesting conversation with the gentleman that owns the property in regards to the history of the place—quite impressive. The land sits on Margaree valley; superb location and views. Long story short: used to be a farm back in 1900 that rented some rooms; was later acquired by a company that further developed the place, until it was bought by the present owner back in 1977. So hospitality runs deep around here
