I eat at the what a bagel on spadina in downtown all the time. They are super friendly and the food is great. The rude employees working at this location was enough to deter me away. This location desperately needs help on how to treat guests.

The bagels are good, but my favourite thing from here is this chocolate cake/croissant. It’s really good!
Normally love what a bagel, their herb and garlic cream cheese is my favourite! I also go for their gluten free bagels which are good but this last time when I got home to eat my bagel it hadn’t been toasted, was disappointed with that as bagels (especially gluten free) need toasting! Still giving 4-stars because I haven’t had an issue before, I pick up bagels in bulk for my sister all the time and she loves them! Just know next time to make sure to ask for it toasted, I thought that was just common knowledge when ordering!
Food is excellent quality but service was horrible. I called to place an order and had a question about how the options were priced for the eggs/omelettes but after escalating the question to the manager, he told me to just read the online menu (which I had in front of me), didn't answer my question, and alternated between telling me they could change the omelette to poached egg and telling me they couldn't change the menu. Finally, he brusquely said he didn't have time to answer my questions and turned the phone back to the original employee I called. The language barrier might have been an issue but the manager was inexcusably rude and dismissive. I was offended by their attitude and would have ended the call had their food not been so highly reputable. On the other hand, the food was indeed amazing just as the other reviews noted. Bagels were good and the toppings complemented them very nicely. Soup was also very fragrant and well made (we had chicken pot pie soup). Overall, three stars - 1 star for service and 4 stars for food.
I just ordered on UBEREATS They’re charged me 5 for extra ketchup, which was not received. And also I ordered Greek salad it’s Supposed to comes with boiled egg it was missing. Very inconsistent place and chef, Cheap place and Also I just called them back for this situation and they just disregarded the issue....I don’t recommend this place. customer service is very Disgusting. 3 times the worst experience. I will never order from this location again.
