I am currently a patient here!!! I'm very impressed with the kind staff, Answer questions Clean environment People joke about hospital food...at this Hospital, the food Is hot I don't live in this area. Staff, managers have never asked why am at this hospital, because I like this hospital

Hospital needs serious repairs! Walls cracking, paint peeling, broken machines, grossly dirty fly screens...stained floors! I'm talking about the wards. Shower was broken, and roof was leaking. Nurses having to do I've runs' to another ward...our ice machine was broken. The cleaners need supervision, floors, toilets, sinks remained dirty after they had been there 'cleaning' Nurses very nice and care aids, hospital Dr really good. But everyone is working under near 3rd world conditions!! Hospital is Nowhere near big enough for the area it serves...that's why ER is so overloaded & people sleeping in the hallways. I'm aghast that the foundation has let it run down in this way...pretty facade & some new machines to work with...clean hallways when you arrive..then when you stay there you find the real story behind the public showcase! Disgusting..instead of stopping tolls on bridges, fix our hospitals and make them bigger. Ridge Meadows needs more help, as they seem to be the areas dumping ground for the \homeless\ and also the fentanyl addicts.. Check out the people running this hospital...something's not right here.
RMH is a functioning hospital for our community. It's does its job but it's in total disrepair. I've been a few times, all for different reasons and each time the wait was awful. I went in once for a broken leg and ended up waiting around 9 hours. My most recent visit didn't take nearly as long (only around 3 hours which is holy in comparison) but they did come in to let me know they hadn't forgotten about me and they were just waiting for beds to open up. The doctors and nurses in this hospital are very knowledgeable and kind. I commend them for the work they do. It's just so sad to see how little the higher ups care about this hospital.
Good community hospital. Nice staff, knowledgeable doctors. However, Emerg Room is always busy and packed. Wait time could be hours and hours. I was basically dying from dehydration in a waiting room and nobody gave a sh**t - not a single nurse approached me. I had to wait for 3 hours with my 5 years old son profusely bleeding all this time. ER nurse never came to check on his condition.
