Do NOT let this bank handle your estate affairs. Dealing with 5 different banks and they are the worst. Their own policies override will and POA authority. Their expectation: send your 93yr old, hospitalized father in for face to face authorization because we won’t risk sending one of our own to the hospital. OH, and no, you can’t have a lawyer act on our behalf. Dealing with the death of someone so close is bad enough. Why make it this hard HSBC? Shame on you. Despicable!

I have been with this bank for over ten years and I have never had any problems with any of the tellers , they always greet me with a smile and say hello , I cannot speak for everyone else but I am happy here , I have dealt with all the tellers female and male and I can talk to them about anything and they listen and are polite to me . Thank You .
Just went in to open the account and the teller, Lisa, was lovely. However, ally, the financial advisor, made me super uncomfortable. He looked at me like I was a criminal or doing something shady, asked me for a bunch of details from a previous financial institution, and questioned all of my answers as if I was being interrogated. I’m assuming it’s because I’m heavily tattooed. Will not be opening an account. Went across the street to RBC and opened there.
The knowledge of the tellers at this location is horrible. The one man (i will not name) could not even set up an account for me and promised to get back to me with information and never did, very unknowledgeable and impossible to deal with. The call centre was just as unhelpful as they could not do anything either. Would not recommend.
