Nestled in a coulee on the north edge of the west block of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, it's a perfect location for seeing the wide open spaces of the grasslands Prairie, as well as the unique alpine ecosystem of the Cypress Hills. We stayed at the log cabin, in a more quiet corner of the ranch. Since we didn't mind the lack of plumbing or a tight staircase to the loft and valued privacy, this was the best location for us. A trail connecting to the park starts at the cabin, giving access to the park via wildlife trails. The Hidden Conglomerate Cliffs are nearby. We didn't do any ranch activities due to Covid, but really enjoyed reading about the Reesor family and local history from entertaining memoirs available at the cabin. Fully supplied kitchen, wood stove, electric heaters, cozy.

My husband and I chose Reesor Ranch because we wanted a few nights tucked away with a woodstove. We stayed in the Log Cabin and it was exactly what we needed. We had an absolute blast exploring the ranch with Jason on tracked ATVs and enjoyed quiet nights under the stars around the fire pit. Highly recommend for a peaceful vacation, and plenty of things to do if you're feeling adventurous. A truly beautiful little corner of Saskatchewan.
Thank you Scott, Theresa and the entire staff for a wonderful stay! It was definitely one for the books. The place is peaceful, very clean, and the view from the cabin is remarkable. The AAA steak is a must-try! Also special thanks to Sarah! The kids had a great time doing the pony ride.
You r treated like family the moment u step foot on their property. They make sure youre not only safe but having fun. I felt too ill to go horseback riding and everyone was so concerned and fussed over me line i was one of their own. Lots to do and see. We will go back next year. And the food is amazing!
Dear Scott & Theresa, We want to thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Jin and I enjoyed our time at your ranch! The BBQ steak at supper time and the pancake breakfast the following morning were delicious. We were mesmerized by the Cowboy poems and stories you entertained us with during those meals. The starry night sky and the sunshine the next day were a bonus. Staying for a night in your historical home was like going back in time. Riding horses was a first-time experience for Jin! I had not gone riding for many years. It was nice to get back into the saddle. We recommend that others will also enjoy their time at your ranch. Sincerely, Daniel and Jin
Fantastic place! We went to the barn dance, the owners are super friendly persons make you feel very welcome... the band as amazing we have so much fun with my family!
It was a fantastic experience! It was good to use the time brushing and saddling my horse to get to know him, and by that point, Pablo and I were buddies. He liked walking around the pen with his head hovering just over my shoulder, and he was much more cuddly than I expected. The staff was well-versed in their work, and I felt quite safe. The sights were very nice, but it was a true pleasure to spend that time with Pablo and he made horseback riding a great first experience that I would do again in a heartbeat!
The Reesor Ranch was a lovely place for a relaxing vacation. We stayed in the Cowboy Cabin, it was clean, well equipped and very cozy. Scott, Threasa and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We took the ATV tour on their land; it was an amazing adventure with stunning views. And the farm dogs were so sweet.
