I really enjoyed the food and the service was friendly. Portions were generous. I found the dishes to have an underlying spiciness, which I enjoyed, but it caught me off guard at first. That being said, it was a delicious meal, and I would certainly go back!
This could have been a 5 star rating but the client service is extremely slow and inefficient, all because the restaurant is extremely understaffed, with one woman trying to manage multiple things all by herself instead of hiring help. She is all alone greeting guests (no hostess) tending to tables and taking orders (no waiter), cleaning off tables (no bus boy), serving food and running the whole restaurant - this is far too much to handle and the customer service greatly suffers as a result. Otherwise the food itself is authentic South Indian cuisine, full of rich flavors and the prices are affordable. I would still return here since I did enjoy the food overall. I would hope that they hire more staff to help out since the woman who is working alone is obviously struggling to manage the whole restaurant. It is a shame because the restaurant has so much potential to be 5 stars!
This is my favourite restuarant in Montreal. I have never had such authentic and flavourful Indian food anywhere else. One of a kind place.
I & my friends enjoyed the food and the service was quite good. The rose milk they offer is also tasty and nice. N.B (However, it would be good if the things in front of the washrooms are removed or shifted)
