Growing up, MAC Cosmetics was at the tippy-top of the thing to buy. But over the years I have found that they have been surpassed in quality by many other cosmetic brand names. That's not to say that MAC is no good. I just don't think that you're getting what you pay for. Staff at the stores seem over made-up and it's difficult to take advice from someone who has made makeup choices that you in a million years would never make. I have made purchases that I've loved and I've made purchases that I truly regretted. Three stars.

The guy that answered my questions was very friendly but what I’m giving a rating about is the fact I came in asking if someone could apply makeup (I’m a walk up and understand if they can’t) and I was asked what I wanted. I want it simple, foundation, blush, eyeliner. I was told it would be a 45 charge.....45!!!!!! Not even as a deposit that u can use towards makeup after. I clarified this cause I was almost floored hearing it. Are you out of your mind????? We used to get charged 30 at M.A.C and then you could use that to buy stuff after they do your makeup. It’s not like I went in their asking for my makeup as a bride. I honestly can’t believe this was real and I walked away thinking I was getting scammed. And to whoever reads this it wasn’t the guys decision he asked the makeup artist behind the cash register.

I love MAC products. The customer service at the new location at Limeridge mall is a different story. I have been in the store a few times and each time staff don't bother to acknowledge my presence with even a "someone will be with you in a minute". The location in the Bay is fantastic. The customer service is always great. Not sure why the women in the new location seem to ignore people willing to spend a lot of money.

I love MAC products!! The layout is awesome and they usually have whatever i am looking for or whatever i like when i get there in stock. Except for the super popular stuff. That you have more luck buying it online when they restock.
