Took my relatively new Subaru in to repair some deep paint scratches on the hood. (Likely caused by me clearing snow and ice with a snow brush that had a stone or staple embedded in it). Darrell met me at the shop at the appointed time and explained two options, both requiring a full repaint of the hood but one also would have them do some painting on the fenders to make any colour change less noticeable. He gave me no pressure and I chose the more expensive option, as he said that is what he would do if it was his car. He booked me in quickly, said it would take 2 or 3 days, and on day 3 I got a call the car was ready. The paint job is factory perfect. I cannot tell any difference in the colour -- and like most new cars it is a complicated metallic paint. He met the estimate bang on (922 taxes in). As an added bonus, his team completely detailed the inside of the car! That was a nice surprise. Julia on the front desk -- really helpful and professional. The only negative thing was after I booked the appointment I got an email from Maaco cancelling it, then 3 other emails from Maaco confirming then cancelling; I emailed Darrell and he said ignore those, he had me booked in.

I recently brought my 99 4Runner here to have the fenders and trim painted as they were sun faded. The staff at Macco Halifax were extremely friendly and professional. The quality of work they did was exceptional and with my vehicle being so old there it was tricky sourcing some materials for the job but they problem-solved all that and provided me with options. Price wise, they were very competitive with other body shops in town and provided the lowest quote by approx 150.

This auto shop gave me amazing service! I had heavy snow fall from my roof onto my hood and decided to bring it to maaco after a friend recommended them. Darrell the mechanic was very friendly and explained exactly what was wrong with my car and what needed to be fixed with no b.s. He was super honest and wanted to give me the best value. His work was awesome, my car looks brand new :) Julia at the front desk was also very friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend going here!

They are truely professional and responsible. My 2015 Sedona went in the shop to get paint on left rear door. 2days after, Darrell, a person for Maaco gave me a call and said the cable which connects to a motor for auto power slide door has broken. He said it just happened in his shop. However, he found recycled part for my 6 years old car and fixed it. Now, painting on the door is awesome, auto power slide is working properly and clean both in/outside of the car. I know Darrell you spend more money and time for my car with your super professional and responsibility. Highly appreciated. Definitely, recommend and visit again! Oh! One more, the reception is so nice and professional. I believe that reception is very important as much as their quality of skill. Thank you for your kindness.

These guys are amazing! My VW had warranty rust work that needed to be done. We realized that the warranty would only cover a small potion of the work that needed to be done. The remaining work was reasonably priced and they went the extra mile to fix a few dents and other issues they didn’t need to for no extra cost!! Things also took a bit longer than expected and they helped cover the rental car cost. Really I can’t say enough great things about these guys. Trustworthy, kind and generous! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us!!

Timely appointments, clear communications, easy going about appointment changes, and job done perfectly. Glad to find a shop on a first try that I will stick with. Thank you guys and Julia. Oh and they have a Keurig in the waiting room.

These guys were FANTASTIC i needed my bumper replaced and after being run around by another place Macco had me in Monday and my car was ready by Wednesday. The staff was AWESOME ..they even cleaned the interior and did an amazing job on the exterior ..Very HAPPY customer

2020 Dec 18 update. Need an exterior door painted, get it done at Maaco! Looks fantastic, thousands of colors to choose from, and it will last a very long time. Got ours done a beautiful red, and it looks awesome. Thanks for everything! Impressive amounts of knowledge, great advice. Had a great work done on a dent in my hood, and now I find that they also paint doors (Home Depot doesn't paint doors red, go figure) but this place can do any color, but won't let you choose a bad color
