I’ve bought many things over the years and always been very happy. I recently purchased a mattress and brought it home, unloaded it and noticed mold in a pretty large patch on the side. Things from there are not always perfect and I know this. The mattress had some dirt ontop which was not an issue. I called and notified them about the mold and they basically said it was inspected and no mold was seen so that’s it. It’s just very unfortunate for me because like I said I’ve purchesed many things and know that they are not perfect but the fact that it had mold on it and they didn’t care was very disappointing to me. I unfortunately will not be back. (In response to owners response) It’s currently sitting on my front lawn waiting for the garbage truck as I have no use for a mattress with mold. I offered to bring it in yesterday when you guys were there so you could take a look and that was not an option. I will leave pictures that I took so you can see. I am not a complainer and understand as I said that things are not in perfect condition. And I also understand how it may have been overlooked but when I call and make you aware of a issue that i would of hoped you would have been concerned with, the least you could have done was take a look at it. I would have even been happy with a credit to use at the auction at a future time. It’s also really sad to me being a business owner myself that I had to leave this review and get a response that should have happened in the first place.
been going to Luke's for a number of years, Luke has the most Passion for this competitive field I have ever come across, on occasion a concern has arisen yet Luke's there to correct it. At the end of the day, it is Luke whom has the vast knowledge of over 50 years, place is clean & quite amazing how the Staff turn's the floor over from one auction over to another in such a short period of time. My friends took me to Luke's Auction a few months ago and my sister and I have have since been on numerous occasions and have enjoyed our Days and evenings being so impressed with the items being auctioned and the expertise of Luke himself who also brings some humour to the evening. Have purchased many items from Luke's and love everything I have purchased to date at great prices.
Amazing Staff so helpful and kind. Great quality furniture and other items at great prices. I’ve been able to redecorate my kitchen and living room at unbelievable prices with amazing quality items that I used to pay top dollar for at retail stores. Please take some time & talk to Sue & Luke on a personal level you will know & feel their heart & soul for their business & their customers. They always try to get the most for their consignees but depending on the crowd that doesn’t always happen! Thank you so much Luke & Sue & Staff for all your hard work! Tammy and Tim
