Louis is an amazing chef and a fantastic guy. We have had incredible meals of all sorts from Louis over the years -- take out, eat in, catered at our home as well as the home of friends, and have always been extremely impressed with quality and value. We had braised beef short rib from Louis last night and it was delicious and the portions were huge! Will continue to be huge fans of LG FF&C for the years to come. Thanks to Louis and Kelly for helping to make so many great evenings of food friends and family come together for us.

I have been working with Louis Gervais, Kelly, and the wonderful Marnie for the last several months for my mom's 60th birthday this July. They were all absolutely wonderful and we all couldn't have asked for better service, food, and overall experience. From the beginning of the experience I worked directly with Kelly. She was incredibly professional and always answered my emails very quickly and was always super helpful. Marnie who also is the event planner was amazing as well. She ended up being at the event managing it the entire time and I couldn't have asked for someone more calm, friendly, and just overall fun to have around! I seriously ended up feeling like Marnie and the gang were family at the end of the party and loved having them around and helping me. Also, before the event when I felt a little stressed, Marnie eased all my stress and also kept me laughing which is definitely a bonus! The staff during the event were all incredible. They helped me set up and were amazing throughout the event. The food was insanely DELICIOUS. We ended up picking a family style menu and with an ever growing guest list the team was super accommodating even a few hours before the event! Also, when we had to add some vegan options a few days before they did not hesitate once to help us with that. The actual food on the event was incredible and our guests are still to this day chatting about it. Everything was perfection and myself as well as the guests and my family had no complaints or wish anything was different. Overall, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I would definitely use both the venue and catering again.

I recently moved to North Vancouver after buying a house with my 80-year-old mother as an alternative to her going into a care home. We have been housebound due to the pandemic, but I wanted her first Christmas on the North Shore to be special. Louis was kind enough to provide us with a mouth-watering, multi-course meal on Dec. 24th. The food was plentiful and everything from the Cornish hens to the caramel croissant pudding was magnificent! We truly appreciated him going out of his way to make the holidays memorable for us!

I just wanted to thank-you so very much for the lovely meal you prepared for us for my daughter’s 30th Birthday dinner last Sunday. In order to make sure we all stayed safe and in our own homes, we ended up having the meal in three different locations connected by Zoom. It actually worked out really well and although not quite what we had planned, the evening was still a great success. I can’t thank-you enough for the extra care you took to portion out all of the food and provide instructions for everything - it was simple for each location to coordinate the cooking so we could all eat together. The meal was truly lovely and we all enjoyed the evening very much.
