Recently purchased a loom weaving kit as a gift, Johana was very helpful in helping me pick the right one, everything came wrapped nicely and secure. All the accessories look to be good quality and the loom looks amazing. Great yarn selection as well, my partner will be taking some one on one video classes in the new year so I will let her review those then. happy to support local this Christmas :)

The one day Beginning Tapestry workshop was an excellent introduction to weaving on a lap loom. We learned how to setup the loom and then created a wonderful sampler of different techniques. The instructor, Helen, was patient and was able to address different interests and requests for specific techniques. The workshop was held in a comfortable and casual studio space and parking was free (a bonus for those of us who drive). Participants included people like me, who just wanted to try out weaving to artists who wanted to try out a new form of art.
I bought my mom a heddle loom and starter kit for the holidays. Everything was delivered quickly and wrapped beautifully. The loom is great quality and the started tapestry kit was such a sweet combination of colours. Weaving is a new pandemic pastime and Johana has classes and advice that will surely make it a success. I need one for myself next!
Best class I could have asked for during these tough times. Purchased a weaving kit with beautiful yarns and we did a one on one tapestry class for beginners. Johana did an excellent job with instructions on video, which can be tough but she was has a lot of patience and was very throughout. Will be booking another class for this winter for sure!
I took the Tapestry 1 class with Johana and she was amazing! Organized, patient and hands-on. There were 5 of us in the class, but she was still able to give us each the personal attention we needed. I left with a good level of understanding of each technique that was taught, and a finished tapestry that I'm proud to hang in my home.
