I've really appreciated the customer service in this restaurant. The staff is really nice specially the receptionnist. The taste of the food is just amazing and the portion is generous. Highly recommend it

Our new favorite place! We’ve been getting fantastic sandwiches there, and tonight we ordered the Istanbul mix platter. The amount of food is insane, we’re going to have leftovers for at least another day, but the flavors and the freshness is what keeps us coming back. Needless to say, we loved everything. I’m also very happy their meals are served with tasty healthy bulgur and delicious homemade bread!
This is not what i expected from Turkish cuisine, i tried it as i was in the vicinity of Montréal. we ended up throwing most of it...sorry but that indeed happened :-( probably they were not in their best day in the kitchen, or the chef probably wasn't in the mood of cooking at all...my bad luck perhaps...but i will give it another try just to see, once the coronavirus thing is over as i would love to have full experience service included.
Ordered the Istanbul kebab plate. Was more than enough for my family (2 adults and 2 kids), we had leftovers. The bulgur was really delicious (my daughter kept eating it). The meats we're also good. Salad and sides paired well with the meats. The ingredients were very fresh. I would definitely order again. The price was decent for the quantity.
I love turkish food and i always visit all turkish restaurants during my travel. Some of the pictures posted on Google is from another resturant in Ottawa. Fake advertisement
Tried it for the first time today, food was delicious. We’ve had Turkish food in Toronto, Calgary and even here in Montreal’s east end. This place is at the top. The Iskendar plate is the best we’ve had. The mixed grill has generous portions and the meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly...tender and juicy. I ordered for takeout at a non-rush time, and everything was ready quickly and service was great. Will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work!
We tried this place for the first time after they moved from Brossard to Longueil and it is the most disappointing 220 we ever spent. The proprietor changed and so did their food. The meat under their Istanbul Mixed Kebab was okay (tender) but it’s not the same taste/anymore. Even their fries changed (I used to get extra portions of their frites because they were SO GOOD). Their lahmacun wasn’t good and we got so many thinking it was the same :”( Disappointing and will not be returning. ️️️️️️️ Review from summer of 2020: We’ve been eating here several times since we discovered this place a few weeks ago, as good as they come for Turkish food (I may be Asian but le mari is Turkish!) and we both enjoy the food here every time. The service though... varies, sometimes you get prompt and efficient service and other times, it takes a while to get any service at all. There is one particular lady in hijab that I find to be the best as she knows what she’s doing, is efficient and provides good service, she should be the manager there! (If that is not already the case).
Friendly staff all the way to closing time! Truly makes a difference to not feel like you were bothering by ordering food at a late hour! The food was delicious btw. So it's a five star review from me. No hesitation!
