Good grocery shopping places. Prices are completely reasonable, sometimes sale items are with excellent best prices. All sections are well maintained and properly arranged, it’s easy to find items from the store. Deli centre, Produce, bakery, fish and meat are good with customer service and quality items. Floor clean and properly maintained walkways too. Main attraction is wine store and beer collection. They provide student discounts too. Outside parking space is not bad, weekends are always busy. Only just noticed is cash counters seems crowded mostly and they don’t open all counter unless crazy busy. So always big line up for billing. Safe grocery store, staff are friendly and courteous. Thanks for keeping us safe in during this pandemic. I recommend this shop for good shopping experience.

I was amazed with the wonderful staff at the Metro today. I was stressed because a family member was celebrating a milestone birthday, and due to the COVID lockdown, it would be impossible to have any sort of party or even a family gathering. In fact, I was a thousand miles away in another province. I called the Metro hoping there was something/anything I could do, and I was thrilled to discover that the Metro delivers flowers, that I could customize the bouquet, and that they would also deliver a birthday cake with a personalized greeting. I was also able to include a balloon and candles. The order was finalized over the phone with my credit card (I think they also accept debit cards). Everything was delivered as one complete order the same day, The florist (Christine?) handled everything. She even texted a photo of the entire order before she finalized it. I am including a pic of the beautiful flowers and the yummy Lindt cake.

Adelaide Cheapside Location - RE- amazing manager Ron. Yesterday, I went to buy my prime rib special. And I ordered my piece through the butcher, since my size was over the ration limit. The employee was clearly annoyed by my requests . Thankfully this store manager had the utmost class and made me feel like I mattered. This store manager, Ron, clearly had the training and experience to handle this situation and diffuse the problem right away! Ron promptly responded to the issue with minimal effort and ease, he was most concerned about my customer satisfaction and negative experience. Once again, he immediately resolved this issue with great class. I am now again a happy customer thanks to Ron. Thank you Ron, for showing this wonderful example during this stressful, unprecedented time. You are the type of leader that I would want to deal with at any corporation, you’re a born leader.
