Very good books! Also good for kids! Nice and quiet, but sometimes the book you want to read is not where it's supposed to be and also there is not any places to sit, but I understand that it is Covid, so great place!

Of two minds about it. Lovely space (I've even rented the meeting room once), great meeting room, friendly staff. As mentioned by others, can get quite noisy, but I do love that it's being used as a community space.

Clean and staff seem nice but honestly, the noise level is really bad. Place is a straight up daycare. Seems like the library standard of 'quiet' just doesn't apply here. It's good that there is a kids area because kids needs to learn, play and interact but because of the architectural design of this library, the sound from one area resonates throughout the entire interior structure. I think visitors hear this noise and assume that anything goes because this place is anything but quiet. I don't know how central can be so large and yet so consistently quiet - probably tighter standards.

Clean, organized, friendly staff and agree, lots of bright, natural light!

Beautiful building - but if you're looking for a quiet place to read/study this is not the place to go! Its basically a daycare; full of screaming children, running around throwing things and crying. Even in the upstairs study rooms (which you can only rent out for two hours a day) you can hear all the crying & screaming on the lower level. I'm all for community centres but there should really be a separate place for the children to play because libraries are supposed to be a quiet space.
