I got back into the sport of rowing in 2017, after a long hiatus. Once bitten by the rowing bug, I quickly realized that I wanted a light weight single so I could be more competitive, and also have my own shell that I could take out recreationally and for stress relief whenever I wanted or needed. I researched many options but found that Fluidesign had the best selection and best prices for a used but well maintained rowing shell. I chose a light weight Elite from Sam. Sam was fantastic in guiding me through the selection process and even offered me an opportunity to pay for my shell in installments over a 12 month period that was interest free. I have had my \Tommy Hawk\ for nearly 2 years and have been thoroughly impressed, by both, my boat and with Fluidesign. I experienced the best Customer Service and could always call with questions or concerns; Jenny Henry is excellent and very understanding when I had to call in with questions regarding my installment plans and extending due dates. I have been recommending anyone interested in a rowing shell toward Fluidesign because of the care they put into their products, services and customer relations. Excellent company and the best place to find your new or used rowing shell, regardless if it is 1X or an 8.
