I have always enjoyed Fanshawe Pioneer Village. This was the first time I have been there this late in the year. I was there for the Christmas market. It was great,.... the weather was a little cool but perfect..... the booths looked so great with all the wares displayed, the lighting at night made the village sparkle... Everything was organized to keep everyone safe. Had a great time!

i loved my time here. it took us about 2 hours to go through the whole village. we saw them make pioneer bread and we also got to feed the chickens! everything is well maintained and thoroughly explained via the awesome staff or small text. if you are a history fan this is definitely a place to visit!

Camping for the full season ( 2004 ? ) the price monthly 400 . the upside: had great neighbors, shower facility close by, got girlfriend,. Great staff friendly, my own trailer no freaking roommate !!, beautiful nature. the downside: met a few bassholes. now the price is over 2,000 everything goes up yearly.

We took family photos there and it was great! We were able to book it for a fee on a day it was closed so we had the place to ourselves. It was perfect for the scenery

They are true to their slogan of big on history, big on fun! It is a museum but not your typical museum in an enclosed space. The staff know their stuff, friendly and welcoming towards children who have millions of questions about the unique and unusual things they see around. It is rich in information, a place where you seem to be walking toward the past.
