I was taken from home at 10 and of all the places I was in THE most memorable was CPRI , it was 74' and I had just spent 2 years in Salvation Army's Children's Village , I was sent to CPRI for 30 day observation, at least that's what I was told , and when there I met a woman named Anita and another named Maureen that made it a memorable Maureen even took me to her mother's home to go swimming in the pool and roller skating another time. I wish I could thank them now. It's sad so many people had such a bad experience while I never felt so loved and cared about.

Horrible place. I was there as a kid twice and it traumatized me. I would advise any parent to avoid sending their children there. I understand that as a kid I was a handful due to neurobehavioral trouble but still I would advise parents with kids in the same situation to avoid sending there children there. It will forever affect these children and traumatize them. The place is very rough and tough and it causes nothing but long lasting pain. It will not help you grow it will only cause you suffering. There has to be other options that will not do as much damage to your children. Also remember this place is facing a class action lawsuit for abuse.
