Had a blast here with my 1.5 year old. They have lots of different themed rooms with activities, like a dinosaur room with a cave and a pit to dig for bones, a space room with lots of educational material and a spaceship (complete with spaceship controls), a mini village with shops, a tree with a slide, etc etc. She had a ton of fun going through all the activities. We'll be back in the future! During Covid, there are a few loose rules: the rooms have a limit on the amount of people that can be in them at once (not really enforced), toys that have been in mouths have to be placed in baskets at the doors (also not enforced), and you have to purchase tickets in advance that are locked to a time slot. Overall, I felt as though it wasn't bad and it wasn't busy during our afternoon time slot.

Another amazing time at the museum. We can't wait till they move to the new location. Thanks for all the extra cleaning and little things during these different times. We notice and appreciate it
We were in the area and thought we would pass by. We were not sure what to expect with this being in London. We went to the Strong museum for children in Rochester NY last year and we all loved it. We were not totally expecting the same especially it being in London ON. Loved that it was in an old school. The building itself is pretty neat. We have a 6 and 9 yr old. I would say the 6 yr old had a better time here. Some of the same themes as The Strong but at a much smaller scale and less detail. The star constellation show was pretty cool. Note, the viewing room.is quite small and there is not much seating. With the amount of people in the museum this day there was not much of an issue with space. My sons favourite exhibit was the dinosaurs and my daughters was the the while museum. Her word. Anyway for the 9 entry fee for adults of children it was all right. You can be done the whole museum in about 2 hrs. If you have time to kill and the kids need a change of scenery that I would recommend the LCM. Happy days!!!
Nice museum for kids. Interesting and interactive exhibits where kids can have fun and learn. Soft play area and sensory experience was available where kids can paint. Would recommend going.
The museum is a bit dated but a new one should be opened later this year. The activities were fun for our 5yo, it took us about 1.5 hour to go through the 3 floors. Staff and volunteers are all very nice and helpful. We had to purchase tickets in advance and can choose between 2 time slots, 10-12pm or 2-4pm. The online ticket purchase system didn't work, it jammed my mobile phone and I had to restart every time I try the site. I called the museum and it was easy to hold the spots over the phone instead.
This is very good children museum if your kid want to learn about dinosaurs and day to day life. The best age for this museum should be 3-8 as they will enjoy a lot. This museum is old so you feel improvements are needed, when I asked they mentioned that they will be soon moving to new location with improved infrastructure. This is must visit if your kid enjoys museums and want to have fun. The usually kids spend 3-4 hours.
This is one of our favorite places to visit. The kids always have a blast and the staff are amazing.
4 star from me and 5 star from my wife since this museum has lots of things to keep the kids busy. Its not a typical museum to just see things, it has interactive play spaces where kids can do role play and learn. Definitely a must go with kids if you’re in the city of London, Ontario.
