I've been flying with Aeolus Flight Academy sense it opened in London and have had nothing but a great experience. The owner and my instructor Jake is an absolute delight. Its been alot of fun learning to fly with Aeolus Flight Academy. If you're looking to get a recreational license or private pilot license I highly recommend this school.
Aeolus Flight Academy has a comfortable yet professional atmosphere. I moved to Aeolus very recently to earn my Recreational Permit and I am looking forward to working with Jake as I transition to Private Pilot.
If you’re in the market for flight training, this is a great place to go, and as far as I know they’re the only place in London using Cessnas. The chief is very hands on and is very involved in the progress of his students. His personality is VERY friendly and understanding, and he is very passionate about flight training. From experience this is something that student benefits from, rather than being intimidated into making errors. He’s the type of instructor you can go to after hitting a wall with your flight training progress, and get you past your obstacles. The location is a very nice atmosphere, quiet in spite of being at the airport, perfect for getting the work done. Whether you are just getting started or continuing training I think it’s safe to say that if you go check this place out, you really might end up staying and making some new friends!
Jake the instructor ,and he was my first flight instructor when started flying in Ottawa. He is very patient and knowledgeable and was the one who sent me solo for the first time! He gave me confidence throughout my training. Aeolus flight academy is just starting but will be one of the best flight schools for that reason! Thanks Jake
