Really enjoyed this place. Stayed in the rustic cabin, electricity no water... fridge, lights, gas stove. There was a separate building for washing dishes etc, separate bath room was clean... always!! There was a playground for tykes, and the lake has some nice trout too!!

We rented the second Cabin during Christmas 2018 and will never this family trip. From Ice fishing, skating, sledding...we were busy outside every day. The facilities are clean and the cabin was comfortable. I want to come back in the summer! We will be back and had a trip of a lifetime.

You don't go to Tunkwa Lake to swim. Most people head there for the fishing, and this lake produces! First week into September you'd think this also lake would be fished out, but nope! It's still good! Now in Covid everybody wonders what's safe and what isn't; I can assure you the staff at Tunkwa Lake Resort do an excellent job of cleaning and sanitising their cabins after each use, I'm very confident in recommending them for this alone, however I'll go one step further and day the staff are excellent as well! And the cabins? Rustic 7A was very well appointed, and surprisingly away from the crowd! Well be back!!!

Great retreat. Relaxing camping on great trout lake. Resort also has cabins. Great owners have been going for ten years or more...will return.

This lake never disappoint us. For the few years we have been to the lake, we caught decent size fish everytime. The cabin is in good condition. Only reason for four star is due to missing running water from the cabin. Other than that, love it! We will continue visiting Tunkwa lake for our annual fishing fun!

Awesome fishing resort! Public washrooms and shower house are clean and private. Even the outhouses were some.of the cleanest i've ever been in camping. Lots of cabins, and some of them have thier own washrooms and showers and TV. Biggest one has dishwasher and washing machines, wow! Staff is friendly, very easy going, and very helpful! Free wifi for 15 mins every 24 hours, can pay for more. No cell reception up here. Enjoyed the fishing up here, can't wait to come back next year!

We love Tunkwa! Perfect spot to enjoy the wilderness, with all the amenities of home. Very clean cabins, and the owners are great people who are super accommodating to your needs, and help with any problems that come up. We can’t wait to come here for more years to come.
