Consistently excellent food and service. It will put a little bit of a dent in your wallet, but that is to be expected in a higher end restaurant. At least you're getting a really nice meal for you money.

For our mains, we had beef tenderloin and rainbow trout with vegetables. Everything was wonderful. My friend raved about the beef and even the asparagus. The fish was cooked perfectly, moist, delicate and delicious. Everyone seemed very happy with their meals. Our server, Manny was attentive and affable.

We dined at LoPresti's at Maxwell's with 3 other couples. This is one of Hamilton's finest traditional restaurants with a long history of great food and impeccable service. Everything was wonderful. I have always enjoyed their comfortable, private dining rooms and during the pandemic this has been even more appreciated. Our tiger shrimp risotto and minestrone soup appetizers were top notch! Others enjoyed their caesar or caprese salads. For our mains, we had beef tenderloin and rainbow trout with vegetables. Everything was wonderful.

By far my favourite restaurant in all of Hamilton. It costs about 5 more per dish than the rest of the hip restaurants in the city, but you can be guaranteed an extraordinary experience. The food is consistently mind-blowingly delicious, and you literally cannot get better service anywhere in the city. Perfect place for a date, entertaining business guest, or a nice dinner with a friend. Parking is directly across the street. Also, if you’re a veg or vegan, the chef will always prepare something special for you! I ask for “vegan surprise” every time and it’s always next level amazing! This is by far Hamilton’s greatest hidden gem!
