Lindsay Kenney Law is one of the lowest value for your money law firms I have every hired, I have hired many Law Firms previously and I have an exceptional understanding on Lawyer fees. Never have I ever had a law firm charge me in such an excessive fashion while also barely doing anything. I just reviewed my Lindsay Kenney invoice for the month of January and my entire initial retainer of 40 grand was sucked up quicker than rats at a New York subway station. I would have no complaints if I'd received 40 grand worth of service but all they did was review my case so they understood what was going on, send a few emails back and forth and get on a couple of phone call meetings with apposing counsel, we haven't even started yet. I am going to bring this to law society and I will be finding new counsel tomorrow PRONTO!

during 2020 I had the misfortune of retaining Cassandra Drake during a vital phase in my life, I had an unpleasant and uneasy experience which added a lot of burden and stress to an already stressful court case, I was unpleased with how my file was handled. there was a lack of strategy and direction going into court, affidavits were very unorganized and Cassandra had missing exhibit documents going into the courtroom. Cassandra was very easily manipulated by the lawyers opposite to me. I was constantly pushed into the corner by the opposing lawyers and legally Cassandra did not do her job to protect me, she had no counter arguments prepared and this led me to a disastrous outcome, the opposite lawyers were able to completely manipulate the story and facts and the judge believed all of it due to Cassandra not being able to counter the manipulation with facts she should have prepared and reviewed prior. I found I was very often invoiced a great sum for things that should have been minor and simple, I was overcharged. Most importantly she did not help me achieve good results and it was mostly due to incompetence.

Must I say I am not so fond of Cassandra Drake, In my experience Lindsay Kenney overcharges on retainers, are unorganized, unresponsive and rude, it takes on average 7 to 8 days to get any type of response to my emails and it takes days for any sort of acknowledgment on opposing party responses. that being said I was charged 27 thousand dollars for email responses alone an assistant should have been handling. Cassandra Drake took more time handling assistant level work at an hourly premium lawyer rate than actually working on my case like an experienced lawyer should. I went to the office for a meeting with the opposing counsel, I happened to arrive early and I overheard Lindsay Kenney's lawyers gossiping about me, I didn't know a law firm could be so unprofessional and rude especially since they made over 220,000 from my file. That being said Cassandra Drake did not help me achieve a positive outcome at trial, her arguments were lackluster and unpersuasive, half her points were improvised last minute, I know this because she did not review any of it with me prior to trial. Coming from personal experience Lindsay Kenney is disrespectful, slow response, unorganized, inexperienced and unprofessional and also happens to over-bill at the same time. Of course this is all coming from personal experience, if you do chose to retain Lindsay Kenney to experience it for yourself do so at your own risk.

Years ago I came to Lindsay Kenney and retained their lawyer Christopher John Hope, I had a terrible experience with Christopher, Communication was horrendous and my case was not taken care of at all. On average it took a week and a half to get any update or response email. I tried to voice my concerns to Lindsay Kenney and they did not take action so i decided to take my file to another law firm (best decision I had ever made). I have heard from many past clients that Lindsay Kenney replies to their bad reviews claiming they are not in their client database and then consults with google to remove the reviews on the basis that the undesirable reviews are spam or untruthful, which is a dishonest practice. that is the reason I am choosing to come forth to post this review years later about my opinion and experience, in my experience Lindsay Kenney is unprofessional, untrustworthy, unorganized, and dishonest.

The lawyer Fanda Wu has told me that my legal consult was started at 10:10 am, I didn’t question it. But when I went home and saw my parking bill was started at 10:06 am on the street, and due to the building construction that the law firm was very difficult to find, and I had to call them a couple of times to ask. Plus the elevator wasn't working(the office is on the 18th floor) all these have proved the start time 10:10 am was wrong, it should be around 10:25 to 10:30am. Therefore, I emailed them the parking bill and asked them to adjust the legal bill price. We had a few emails back and forth but they refused to change the bill at all.

I never met a lawyer who took my case so personally and it made me realize how lucky I am. As long as you have lady Justice on your side, you can go to sleep knowing that she will bring you a better day tomorrow. Thank you Susan Justice for your tenacity and courageous attitude throughout my legal family matter. Two thumbs up!
