2nd time there. Was great! Staff was amazing, accommodations were as well! Had a great time on the water with the pontoon boat we rented. So many great memories and pictures

Overall the experience was decent. Grounds and cottages were kept clean. Pool was kept clean, however it closes at 7pm for no reason because it’s not as if someone is watching the pool prior to 7. My first complaint however is in regards to their complete falsely advertised 1 bedroom which is actually a bachelor apartment/cottage. This was a complete disaster as we are a family of 3 with an infant. I’d say they might not have known to let us know what the set up was but we had to pay 25 extra a night for our infant to stay with us. Second complaint would be their rental service. We rented 2 paddle boats at about 2 pm. Rental times are from 8-5 so we had 3 hours and a few little kids so we had ample time. After maybe 30-45 minutes on the paddle boats the owner appears asking how much longer we will be because he wants to go home which to me is just completely unprofessional. Obviously uncomfortable we finished up quickly and returned the boats. My last complaint which may seem a bit picky was checking out. As stated we have an infant ( who has slept in her own bed since 6months) she didn’t have the best sleep as we all had to share a room which she isn’t used to. Regardless, we made it work, but she’s up early so we figure to pack up and hit the road early. Were ready to go around 7:30, however no one is in the office. A woman who owns the place lives directly beside the office and is sitting outside with a gentleman I believe works there as I seen him doing random things throughout my stay. I ask the gentleman if I could give him my key as we’ve cleaned and locked up and are ready to go. He says I need to wait for the employee to arrive at 8. Clearly being difficult for no reason. You work here, your here now. What’s the problem. We wait. The employee shows up and says oh you could have left the keys in the cottage. It was all a bit confusing, we made the best of it and I’m just glad the place was clean!

If you're looking for a cheap place to rent a little cabin and fish for a weekend, your good to go here, just know that they will Nickle and some you for all the \extras\. Cottages usually come with some minimal items, a couple pots and pans, maybe some salt and pepper shakers, utensils... This place, did not. If you need any items, bring them yourself. They also unnecessarily charged each car for parking, 22 for the weekend. All those things aside, the boat worked great and the cabin had air conditioning and was recently renovated. If you're in a pinch, this place works, but come equipped

Rented a double decker pontoon and it was quite dirty, the table still had cherry seeds, the drink holders had leftover food in it etc. It definitely does not seem well maintained nor that sanitary. To make matters worse the top level was rather shaky and there appeared to be a lot of water stuck underneath which was dripping down on us as we drove. Lots of cobwebs and spider webs all over. The anchor was also tied together with the cheapest string imaginable. I think the owner must have took one of his old shoelaces as an anchor rope. I would not recommend this place at the price as there are much better places overall. The images on the website are deceiving to say the least. They also charge parking for more than 1 car which doesn't make sense since I am renting a pontoon that holds 10 people. Do they really expect us to arrive in one car? The only positive was that the engine ran quite well and the staff were friendly and polite.

*** Read! Why I gave them 1 *** --Not Recommended please do not waste your money for booking any one of their cottage-- I have visited this place with group of 35 people (multiple families). This place has one of the worst owner/management. I have visited many cottages. But this place is like a nightmare. I wish I can give them less than 1. This is just like a Shrek swamp. The cottage owners fought with us more than half an hour just for one damn pontoon. We came here for the fishing but they're renting there boats from 8am to 6pm which does not involve fishing times. When we said we will return the pontoon before the sunset the owner said no TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO HOME. This is ridiculous. The paddleboard which are free at most of the cottages; they are charging for the paddleboard 80tax/4 people and 65tax/2 people for a day. The best fishing time is early morning and evening before the sun is out and upon sun set. I have read some of the reviews and some people say these are the new owners better than before but I think these owner are worse the before. This place is garbage. I understand these owners spend some money to renovate their cottages but there's no point spending money if you don't know how to talk to your guests. Please check out the swamp in the picture then you will understand how bad is this place. Also after fighting half an hour they give us worst pontoon boat which you can see in the pictures...
