I am updating our customers, old and new, regarding the efforts and activities of our franchisees, managers and all store staff as we manage this unprecedented and disruptive threat to every person’s well being across Canada. We have embraced the directions of health officials in order to play a part in the containment and elimination of this threat.
The vast majority of our stores are owned and operated by franchisees who greatly appreciate your support.
All stores have made changes to operations that include strong cleaning and sanitizing procedures along with protective measures for the benefit of our customers and staff. These measures restrict personal contact and allow for social distancing standards by controlling the number of people in our stores at any given time. These efforts may have led to shorter opening hours in order to maintain the high standards of those efforts and activities, so please check with your local store for hours of business.
Due to inconceivably massive demand for some products and disruptions in the supply chain, some product shortages have developed. We are using all possible efforts to remedy this situation for your benefit and we appreciate your patience.
This health crisis will not be without changes and therefore our practices will continue to improve and evolve as required. I am proud of all of our people in our stores for their dedication and willingness to provide basic products that you need through this challenging time. All of our store staff have welcomed your expressions of support and gratitude.
I will provide further updates as required and join you in hoping the continuing strong efforts of every Canadian diminishes this crisis to extinction.
