I typically don't like to leave bad reviews but this place takes the cake. Booked my appointment for 940am, didn't actually get upstairs in a chair until 1040am. I don't understand the point in booking an appointment when they can't get anyone in on time. Every single time I've visited this facility there's a wait time issue, which I thought booking an appointment would solve; apparently not. This inconvenience made me late for another appointment I had booked over an hour after this appointment, thinking that would give me enough time but I was very wrong. The manager explained the wait was due to one of the staff members making a "big mistake" and that was was "very angry" and then proceeded to send that staff member in to draw my blood!! This site is very disorganized, untimely and inconsiderate. You're better off to just walk in as opposed to booking an appointment because they definitely will not get you in on time.

Female asked me 3 separate times what I was there for and if I'd handed in my documents. Worse part was it was the same female all 3 times.

Horrible, they never answer the phone, there is unclear instructions on how to get up to the actual room, I just walked in and got yelled at, they yelled that I needed to be “screened” so I go back out and wait outside the room, I waited 20 minutes and tried to ask where to be screened but before I could get a word out the girl behind the desk yelled saying that “this place is appointment only” I asked about screening and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about I said I’ve tried calling multiple times to ask a question and no answer, she then tells me that “it’s a private number and that it’s appointment only” all I was trying to do was ask a question.. (In addition) my girlfriend went in and after she was yelled at she told the girl she doesn’t care if it’s appointment only I need to ask you a question and after a back and forth of attitude from the girl at the desk she finally gave us an answer... also as she was walking in a girl walked out having a panic attack with her husband trying to calm her down... your employees are causing panic attacks and nobody sees an issue??

This review is aimed at the management of this location. I had to go here twice to actually get my samples taken because of the wait/weather. The staff here are overworked and very stressed- somehow they managed to smile and be friendly when I eventually got in. They were only 2 people on duty- they are expected to run up and down the stars, screen patients, process them at reception, sort through paperwork and still be the ones to draw blood- oh and wipe down after each patient. Considering that this is an essential service, I find this unacceptable and dangerous. Also, this is the only location currently open in Woodstock- to serve an entire city. I really cannot fault the staff as they are trying to make the best of a bad work situation. As to the experience of waiting, please do something about it-especially as the weather changes (torrential rain and eventually snow). I arrived at 7.30 am today (30 mins before opening) and I was the 10th person on the queue- this only grew longer. I saw seniors, people with walkers, a child, a pregnant woman, all waiting under the rain- with no shade. Not to mention the obvious that almost anyone needing to get blood drawn is probably ill in one way or the other. Its been 6 months since Covid hit- there is NO excuse for treating patients and staff in this manner. Start by employing more people and extending hours of operation. Start earlier, or close later-or both.

Unfriendly and unprofessional staff at front and extremely long wait time even with reserved time-slot. Usually end up waiting 30-1.5hr past reserved time. Not sure what the point of having a time is... hope they can fix this issue soon!

What an embarrassment this place is. It was a horrible experience! They were extremely rude and ignorant towards everyone who was waiting, and extremely unorganized. It's definitely not a very welcoming environment. As soon as I walked into the waiting room, the staff were arguing back and forth with eachother very loud about how many people were waiting, in the room, which is very unprofessional! Then they lost my papers, that my doctor faxed to them, and told me they had nothing, so i had to call my doctor from the lab and got him on the phone, which he verified to them, they were sent already, and that they probably misplaced them, I then was told this occurs often there. People like this should not be working in the medical field.

This morning, they left my pregnant wife and a number of other customers standing outside in the heat for over a half hour while the check-in attendant was gone (seemingly for a coffee break? He just walked away as she arrived). This was after having already used an on-line check-in form (so what was the point of that?). When I tried calling, the answering machine said they call volume was too high, and I had to hang up and call back later. There was no option to leave a message or wait for the call to be answered. This is not how you treat customers.
