Horrible service. My mom purchased the emergency alert device and service due to frequent falls on October 6, 2020. Around October 30th, my mom had a bad fall and pushed her Life-alert button on the necklace. Not sure how but my aunt from B.C. called my mom and heard her crying and screaming for help. She disconnected the call with my mom and called me immediately to help my mom. My husband and i drove to her place (approximately 3 minute drive) within 6 minutes after my aunt called. Almost 5 minutes being there, the ambulance called and told me that the ambulance was just dispatched. It took them 10 minutes to get to moms apartment. While the paramedics were getting my mom ready to go the hospital, LIFE-ALERT finally called me to inform me of my mom falling. My mom was treated and released. 3 weeks after that, my mom was admitted to the hospital and a week later, transfered to hospice. On December 7, 2020, i contacted Andre Messier (owner) to cancel service. An appointment was set up on December 14, 2020 to cancel in which the owner stated that he would mail a refund for the remaining 9 months of service (26 a month). Waited a couple of weeks, no cheque. Starting calling LIFE-ALERT to inquire about the refund. Left 3 messages with ABSOLUTELY NO response or reply. Called LIFE-ALERT from my husband's phone on January 15, 2021 and he answered and stated that he would go to my moms apartment (now my aunts place as my mom has passed) on Monday January 18, 2021 in the afternoon. Andre Messier has not shown up, tried to call him and from my phone, my husbands phone and my aunt tried as well only to discover that he blocked all of our phone numbers. There were messages left with NO RESPONSE. LIFE-ALERT OWNER HAS SCAMMED A SENIOR AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY MORE SENIORS DID HE STEAL MONEY FROM. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND LIFE-ALERT SAULT STE MARIE!!!

wonderful service I have personally installed and worked for this company andre is caring and compassionate been in business for 30 years is wonderful with seniors would recommend this company to everyone especially my loved ones!!
