The food is par with other licks stores l. We saw a special for a burger for 2.99 and the lady behind the counter told us about how she could add fries and a drink to make a combo at a steal. Win win for both of us because we left satisfied customers.

Fine service and quite a clean establishment. Although this place is a ghost town, I used to really enjoy licks as a kid but more recently the portions of the food are decreasing while the prices are quite high. I would put licks on the scale just under Harvey’s. The franchise needs a serious work over just a Harvey’s has gone through to survive the ever growing fast food industry.
Has a quiet atmosphere and the food/produce is fairly fresh. It's a good place to grab a quick bite.
I went here as I used to love Lick's back in the day. The delicious garlic & pepper patties, fresh fries, it was so good. The food is not what the old Lick's used to be; they don't use a Lick's patty, they use a thick frozen Costco type patty. It was thick, but not Lick's. The guk seemed to be the same, the pickles are not the long pickles from before. The fries are definitely not the same, some new greasy crispy fries, & the gravy was a light beige strange concoction. The place really shouldn't have the Lick's name, but with the company belly up, no one cares about the use of the name. Don't go there to relive the old days.
I've had a good Nature Burger form here recently so I went again a couple of days later... was supposed to be open but the doors were locked and the employee inside sweeping waved me away which I was unhappy about but what I realized in the weeks after is that their hours on google are wrong- they seem to be open most weekdays until seven. Now I just phone them if I feel like a nature burger and I want to make sure they’re open.
Burger is good as always however I would recommend putting the cheese on the burger have it melt a little or having the hot burger off the grill on top of the cheese. When you have the cheese under a layer of topping, the cheese does not melt at all so it sort of defeats the purpose of getting cheese. Ruban
Bad service along side that i was told there is a portion amount on the burgers when i asked for a second tomato. Note the customer behind me was given 4 and had no problem getting other toppings he asked for. All in all i feel the servers need to be reviewed as i felt discriminated and told its policy to only give one of each toping. which i found odd being at a fresh topping food location. i feel unsatisfied and will not be consuming any licks products from now on. Side note why buy food and not be able to enjoy it?
A solid 4 stars for me. Licks in my opinion is hands down one of the best homemade burger places in Scarborough. With a veggie burger to match, which I have tried and was blown away when it didnt taste dry and crunchy. Lol it was delicious! Customer service is good, cant complain. Their cleanliness is good, even though their tables can use a one two more wipes, but nothing drastic. In my opinion it is one the pricey side, but I mean the burger is delicious, and you get what you paid for. Worth it!
